The plein air painter paints out of doors in all kinds of weather;

sometimes  intuitively, expressively, with out over-thinking,

and the painting seems to paint itself, and other times,

nature’s patterns and colors are so apparent that the painter

is methodical and paints surely, from stroke to stroke, until

a true  representation is had.
